Across the streets and highways of India, countless cows suffer in silence—injured in road accidents, abandoned without care, and left struggling to survive. India Aid Foundation stands as a beacon of hope, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting these sacred beings. Rooted in the cultural heritage of Brij, where cows have been cherished since ancient times, our mission is not just about providing shelter but about restoring dignity and respect to these gentle creatures who have been an integral part of our traditions for centuries.
Every day, our team witnesses the heartbreaking sight of injured and deceased cows on busy roads. These innocent animals, once revered, now face neglect, malnutrition, and life-threatening injuries. At our shelter, we currently care for 300-400 cows, ensuring they receive medical treatment, food, and the nurturing environment they need to heal. However, challenges such as limited access to medical supplies, shortages of fodder, and lack of proper shelter facilities often test our resolve. Yet, no matter the circumstances, our commitment to their well-being remains unwavering.
Rescue is only the first step in our mission. Many of the cows we bring in are critically injured, sick, or traumatized, requiring continuous medical care, proper nutrition, and emotional rehabilitation. Our dedicated team of veterinarians and volunteers work tirelessly to heal these animals, ensuring they are given a second chance at life.
The well-being of these cows depends not just on our team but on the support of compassionate individuals and communities. Providing for their daily nutritional needs, ensuring constant veterinary care, and improving shelter conditions require continuous resources.
